David Bannister

David is the founder and principal at SIRA Group and has over fifteen years experience in the Financial Services Industry, specialising in tax, superannuation strategies and retirement planning.

David has Bachelor of Business majoring in Finance, a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance & Investment and has completed specialist education for superannuation.

He is a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (F Fin), an Associate of the Financial Planning Association (AFPA) and a Specialist Advisor member of the Self Managed Superannuation Professionals Association (SSA).

David’s career includes technical support, marketing, management and strategic advisory roles at various respected organisations including The Prudential Assurance Company, The Tower Group and Westpac Banking Corporation.

David also lectures for the Financial Services Institute of Australasia, facilitates workshops for the Tribeca Group and is a guest speaker at industry conventions.
