Ongoing Service
Once a client invests with us and engages us to provide ongoing advice, we stay in close contact so that we can advise of any necessary changes in strategy and/or investments as a result of life changes (e.g., marriage, starting a family, divorce, redundancy, retirement, death, etc) or as a result of external factors (e.g., economic environment, legislation, your tax position and individual sector performance).
The review process is a combination of formal and informal discussions and meetings. The level and frequency of reviews is tailored to each client's needs. We typically discuss issues at least quarterly and formally review our clients' circumstances annually.
An annual review would normally be the process of:
. Establishing if there have been any changes to your personal circumstances or financial goals and objectives
. Ascertaining if the investment portfolio is continuing to meet your objectives
. Commenting on your existing investments and their performance
. Looking at further investment opportunities, if applicable
. Reviewing any changes to legislation that may have an impact on your strategy and investments.
Clients are able to log on to our secure website using a password and PIN and view a range of reports on their portfolio/s. These reports are updated daily and include a portfolio appraisal, portfolio performance, realised and unrealised capital gains, transaction summary, etc.
A comprehensive and independently audited tax report for each portfolio for the financial year is provided to clients to give to their accountant.
Clients also receive our special interest newsletters when appropriate (typically several times a year).
